Robo-Blight (Rayman Infection AU) FAQ (SPOILER WARNING)

Q: "What IS the Robo-Blight disease?"

The Blight is a rabies pathogen that evolved and mutated to be airborne so it can spread more easily. Because of that it's now twice as dangerous as classic Rabies.

At first it was believed that it only affected the Robo-Pirates as it was discovered on their homeplanet centuries ago.

Q: "What are the symptoms of the Blight disease?"

Symptoms are identical to the classic Rabies strain.
Heightened aggression, lethargy, hydrophobia, muscle paralysis, fever, headaches, hallucinations, delirium, throat spasms, foaming at the mouth. (A trait that is commonly associated with Rabies)

Robo-Blight still affects mammalians, but there are also variants depending on the host and the host acts differently in comparison to let's say a Gorilla Pirate - Gorilla Pirates will mutilate themselves to the point of immobility - and Ninja-Henchmen are more feral but they don't look ill or it's difficult to tell at what stage of the infection they're in.

The only way to tell if a Ninjaws was infected is when they literally drop dead from the treebranches they hide in.

As for humans: They will 'stargaze' if infected with the new Rabies strain.

Q: "Does it affect other species?"

Only a minuscule percentage of mammals are unaffacted. Reptiles, birds, and other egg-laying species are immune to the Blight.

It affects creatures that are mammalian.

Q: "How many stages of infection does the Blight have?"

Four and it progresses rapidly. There's even a 35% chance they'll zombify.

Q: "There is a vague hint in Rayman's entry; How did the first host in the AU get infected with the Blight?"

Surprisingly, the first Henchman to be infected came from a rabid animal attack. On EARTH.
What kind of animal?

An animal that can be easily mistaken for a dog.

Q: "If it was discovered on Razorbeard's homeplanet, how was there a Rabies outbreak if it originally came from Earth?"

[REDACTED]
